Blow by filter issue
I moved the blow by filter for the heads from under the carb and air filter to under the engine. I rode about 200 miles today 2 up and the rear rocker box was throwing oil. The filter is between the engine and transmission, the filter is below the block to get air. I used 3/8 inch hose and a hose T and a K&N crankcase filter. Never had a problem until I moved it. The old filter was a 3/8 duel inlet. Don't understand why it threw oil. Can someone tell me what happened or what I did wrong.
I'm glad you posted this, I was riding and parked at work and I noticed some oil on the tank. Looked at my pant leg and it was dry. Hmmmmm
I will check the heads and their breather bolts. I have a super-E and just run a 3/8" gas line to the ground. I'm a Flippin rebel!
Sorry this don't help you, OP, but it gives me an idea what to check.

I have to clean my blow-by filter weekly. Else it will blow oil everywhere on the underside of the engine. Mine is mounted on a bracket bolted to the transmission, about the height of the clutch cable where it enters the transmission side-cover. I can get a week, or two, out of the filter without cleaning it. Did you clean the filter after you moved it?

Maybe there is restriction in the new filter?
Pull it off and run it and see how it does. You don't need anything on the end of the hose at all actually.

granted mine is a bottom breather, but I run mine up and back to the swing arm...no filter, no oil even when running interstate(75+). I am thinking the filter is catching the mist and causing it to pool, rather than blow into atmosphere.

What did you do wrong you ask ? You never had a problem where it was and you moved it...filter could be restricting it,maybe the air/wind hitting the filter is forcing some air in or not letting it release air/ breath. Mine runs to the breather as it should be, always clean, never a mess. I just clean my K&N air breather at normal intervals.
