Started my cam swap this morning. Im not sure what the manufacturer or spec of the cam I took out is, and the only markings are what is shown on the lobes. The only thing I could think of was a Sifton 143 ? Anyone have any ideas ?

Not that it matters much as Im swapping in the tried and true EV27. The 143 cam seemed to come on really hard around 3000 RPMs on up.

Nice chart but I didn't see the SE255 cam listed.

While that is true, it doesn't matter because SE255 is a TC cam shaft and this is the Evo section. SE255 is probably not there because it is a newer cam than the chart.

everyone says you can't go wrong with the 27...I have the ev 3010 which has similar stats an I love it. I wasn't concerned with peak HP/Tq numbers, I wanted the improvement where I ride: 2000-4500 rpm

To get a better idea of what you took out measure the total height of the lobe then the base circle and subtract the bar circle from the total lobe height and multiply by 1.625 and that will give you total lift as indicated by most cam manufacturers. Then go to the site Langwillians suggested tho match it up. Looks like that cam has a nice duration.
