Is there a another part number for the nacelle trim piece?
My nacelle trim piece has broke where the screw goes into it. The micro fiche has it as part 67868-94 but all I found is chrome and mine is black. Wasn't there a another number for the black part?
Excuse the mess I hadn't had time to put away the X-mas decorations yet. However these pic give you an idea what I'm talking about.

I'm willing to bet your black part was originally chrome.
The PO must have painted, powder coated or something to turn it black.
Joe that piece looks like the same on my '96 RK. I don't have any other screw points other that the front one like yours. I used a nut myself to make it easier to get off. I also used a small piece of inner tube with a small hole in it to keep it secured.
If you are talking about the tab that fits into the riser cover then I do see where some double sided tape would work. I also think you could carefully drill and tap a small hole into that cover and secure it with a small screw through the nacelle trim piece.
By all means hit it again with some paint.
