Default Chrome or Black Windshield Trim?

I'm going to change out the windshield trim on my bike to the flat style, and I'm debating between going with chrome or going with black.

This is what I currently have on the bike, but with the black trim at the top of the fairing I think that the black trim piece might look a little better.

So what do you think............chrome or black?

Steve

I think on yours, either one would look good. Then again, you can do like I did and save some money and just put 3 chrome screws on and don't put the trim on.

The black will blend in, but the chrome will give it contrast. I would go chrome because looking at the front end you have a lot of chrome on the bottom, and the chrome trim ties the top to it well. With black, it's almost like you will have two separate halfs. Just my observation.

I have the stainless one on mine but I don't have the chrome front end.

Good post Steve. I'm kinda in the same boat. I've just ordered the Kuryakyn skull trim and once done, the whole front end will basically be blacked out so I'm at a toss up especially with the skull design and don't know if it's going to be lost in black... On your style, I voted black.

That's funny.........9 to 9 right now.

I'm leaning toward chrome...........but the black just makes me wonder.
