It's been awhile since I frequented the forum on a regular basis, like I used to. Was reading some old posts with my morning cup of joe. Did something happen to TD?

I keep hearing from different sources that a lot of Evos are being shipped overseas for big money. Funny the US imports junk and exports the best that will never be again.
A couple of years after I bought my '90 FLHS I met a US airman doing duty here in the UK. The waiting list for a new US spec bike at the time was longer than here in the UK, so he bought a new 'UK' Glide! Secondhand Harleys have been imported from the US since the mid-70s, when the market for them took off. There were only 6 new '90 model year FLHSs officially imported into the UK, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are several more now.
As for the German market, there was a big contraversy here a few years ago. UK dealers were selling new stock to German dealers, at inflated prices, thanks to oddities in the way the MoCo set local prices in the different currencies. At least three UK dealers lost their franchises, so the rumour goes, because they profitted and wouldn't stop when warned off. Mrs B and I bought three new bikes from our nearest dealer, which most certainly lost it's and is no more.
