Hey guys, sorry I havent been in for a while, did a little work on my bike. I had replaced the intake manifold seals and the big rubber ring where the carb pushes into the manifold, I put my S&S air cleaner on and vented the breather to the outside and put the needle clip back in the middle notch. The air screw is about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns out, idle afr is 14 ish. It seems to start and warm up better, I got no coughing or back firing but it still pops a bit on deceleration. To refresh you a bit more my jetting is 27.5 pilot, 165 main. The problem I'm having is it is still on the lean side cruising. At 60 mph, 3000 rpm in 4th gear I'm seeing mid to high 15's afr. With the heat we have here in Georgia and summer on its way I'd like to get that to the high 13's or 14. I forgot which one of you guys run the mikuni. I'm almost thinking I need a 30 pilot or maybe raising the needle one notch (richer). I also reset the timing back to 0 TDC as per the dyna 2000 instructions. I had started this engine rebuild back in Feb 2016 and feel like I'm finally going in the right direction in getting it tuned right. Again, I really appreciate you guys input and advice.

Sounds pretty good. I think your headed in the right direction by raising the needle one notch....
Well guys I finally got the afr to the high 13's-low 14's while cruising. All the other rpm ranges seem to be ok from what I'm seeing on the wego. Now I need to find another place here in Georgia to get it dyno'd. Thanks for all your help.
