anyone have experience with accel parts.i'm looking at a brake line set .it's for 93 fxrs-sport [double disc] and it's obsolete
bills custom cycle in pa has them and claims accel made quality products.if i don't get it, the only alternative is custom by magnum.
Accel brake lines are decent but the ones I've seen don't have the clear coating on them so heads up, anything electrical is all china **** from them anymore.
Bought a Accel coil and looked identical to the Ultima that failed, sticker was laying in the box that needed peeled and stuck on. The darn thing has worked for 7 years and firing a 127" at this time, probaly won't start this spring now but must of got a 13 year old put this one together instead of a 9 year old.
As the OP stated, Accel unfortunately is made overseas and their electronics are hit-or-miss. I've had no experience with their cables or hoses, but I put a set of extra long Magnum Custom Sterling Chromite cables on my '03 Heritage several years ago and they still look brand new. My brake line was a swivelfit. I found a nice one for your application. Don't freak out over the price, they are all absurdly expensive.

Are you looking to keep the original OEM look to the brake lines? I used one of their brakes lines on my sporty years ago. No issues and it's been about 8 years. I would have no problem using one. YD
i'm noticing parts for the bike are getting harder to find.the oem brake lines are 23 years old so i'm thinking about replacing them.years ago i changed the bars and used the dual hose set-up from a 93 fxrs-sport which is impossible to find.custom lines are very expensive,i think ronnies hd might have oem lines but they must have been on the shelf for years.red hogz found me one it should, work but looks to be universal.what have you done with your bike?

My FXRP uses that same hose assembly. When I put 4 pot calipers on, I had to get even longer lines. I ended up finding an outfit that builds hydraulic hoses and they custom fabricated new lower lines onto the stock splitter. Right around 100 bucks, and the new lines are braided.
