I'm still running my stock original lines, however, I did get some paint peeling on the painted fittings which I cleaned up and repainted a few years ago. Seems to be holding up well. The hd part number for our bike is 45111-89 (same as the fxr).
I am looking long and hard about the option in the links below. But I have no experience with them and it's looking like about $100 for the front dual disc line. I would love to find something in the black vinyl like OEM, I'm not a big fan of the braided stuff. Fleabay has a stainless braided front line for about 30 bucks, but not sure of the quality.
i sent some pictures to magnumshielding they custom fab lines, the other alternative would be like previous said a hydraulic shop. brake quip makes all the fittings and lines.

Let me (us) know how it works out. I know I will be headed down the same road as you one of these days. YD
Wow, after making double flares all my life I think that I might have a hard time trusting a screw connection. Is it DOT approved?
Been doing custom brake lines for several decades on bikes and haven't a screw in connection leak or fail yet, if anything I've had issues with the flare fittings leaking. Try and source the correct size flared copper crush washers sometime.
The new Goodridge stuff in the video is the bomb to work with, bit pricey but get exactly what you want when done.

Magnum has a "build your own" line setup similar to goodridge also. I used one for when I put Beach bars on my heritage. It's a super clean way to put custom length lines on, and they are dot approved.
