This one has the caskets for the cam chest.

This one doesn't have the cam chest gaskets.

The following two read that they have .030 head gaskets, no idea what the previous two have.

The OEM head gaskets are 45 thousandths.
The first 2 might have the OEM thickness for their head gaskets.

Please don't just delete your original post, others may be able to learn something. Fortunately THC quoted you so it was not lost.

Where are you buying your Cometic gaskets? I've found that their gaskets on Amazon are cheaper than direct from Cometic, example - .030 Evo head gaskets are $44. plus shipping, $33. free shipping on Amazon.

I called, the first 2 are OEM thick head gaskets, they quote .040 thick
9635 is for later years EVO ( mine 97) the other for earlier years.

Amazon seems to be the cheapest for the 9635 kit.

I need rocker box gaskets. What's the "latest and greatest" recommendation?

I had trouble with the Cometic gaskets, "not" the rocker box to the head but the center spacer and top. The cometic gaskets are not as wide as the HD ones. Both rocker boxes leaked. (and no they were not warped) Bought the HD rubber ones and NO leaks..

I had the same problem with their top rocker box gasket on my Buell.
Could not get it to stop leaking, went through 3 sets.
Got stock Harley gasket, problem solved.

ruggs - the 4 th or 5th design harley gaskets are the deal for the evo rubber top covers only - sure you can get lucky and have another set not leak, but in a shop we use what works every time
