So, the best choice then is the cometic gasket for the bottom box to the head and the HD gaskets for inbetween the box parts?
My rear rocker box is leaking and I need to address it. I used HD gaskets at the time because that's all I could get at the dealer when I dropped that valve guide in S.D. years ago.
Last set of rocker box gaskets I installed where Genuine HD parts. I have no idea who makes them (and I'm certain The MoCo doesn't), but they sealed fine.
As long as the boxes aren't warped (long painful story....).
