Just picked up a '91 FLHS from my wife's cousin. Got a great deal. I'm new to Harley's but been riding old Yamaha 650 bobbers for over a decade. The difference is really immeasurable. I've been looking through the forum for a few weeks trying to get ideas on the batwing inner fairing (it has an '05 outer) but I think I'll learn to love the big ol dash it has. I'm not a fan of wiring. Can I mount a windshield without the inner? Thinking of putting an 8" on it. Any way here she is. 47k miles. Runs strong and true.
Thanks guys. It's running really well. I keep looking for 6th gear on the freeway but I'll get used to it. And no I don't have an inner fairing. There's a clunk in the front end somewhere. I'm going to check the steering head bearing and forks next weekend. My 3 year old is keeping me busy this weekend.
