Took my first medium length ride with my son (1999 FLHT) out to my lake house:

My 93 FLHS with the new ThunderHeader sounded great. As did his with the new Vance & Hines slip-ons.

Nothing like riding with your son.

Sounds like y'all had a great time. My son never really showed a lot of interest in bikes, but now that he's mid twenties, he's talking about getting one. I started riding 40 years ago. The lack of attention by cell phone using drivers makes me concerned about him learning to ride on the streets now. I suggested that he get a dirt bike to learn the basics, before he rides in traffic. He's looking around now. Maybe one day we can take a ride like y'all did.

I can't wait for my son to get his licence.
His birthday is July 15th and then has to take the courses but after that we are hitting the hill country!!!!

Get him in a motorcycle safety course. He can ride their bikes and learn a heck of a lot from the instructors.

And yeah, it's neat riding with your son. I'm 66 and I don't know how much longer I'll be on two wheels, but it sure felt damn good today!

He's on his 5th bike now and I've had a friend of mine who was an instructor come over and teach him the basic course already.

He still has to do it again to get his licence (mandatory in Texas).

He already has about 300 miles on his latest bike just riding it in our subdivision so I figure he ought to ace the basic course!!!!

You know that's a good idea that I didn't think of. Thank you for that.

I figure at 66, I've got maybe 10 or so years left before the biotch is too much for me to balance. Every ride is special...

Love the hat!

Just remind him to put his head on a swivel. They will bounce you for not looking.

Big thumbs up!!!

Nice that you enjoyed a ride with your son Hackd.

Good to see your son is getting some early training and getting comfortable with the bike THC.
