Nope the Ignition is free but the engine is $6 plus $700 shipping and handling.
Can't thank you enough. I owe you one and hope I can help someone else on here at some point. Have in the past but not recently. Everyone's been helping me lately.
If I had a place to put it or something with a large hole in it to put it in, I'd send you $706 for an Evo, shipped.
However, my shop has two Evo big twins, an Evo sportster, two 3S motors (one a 3SGTE) on stands in it, 3 Lotus and at the moment (storm) 2 Lexus. Walking around is a tad cumbersome right now. Maybe I just need a bigger shop.
Thanks Doc, What ever this Engine may need it is one great running Evo. All most positive it's a slightly bent rear intake that's making it hard to seal up. Im ordering a new intake Monday and that should cure the rear cyl fluff and idle.
Whoever gets it wont need to performance it, just keep it up. Its got roller rockers, rebuilt heads, cometic gaskets thru out, S&S cyl studs, 10-1 weisco's, bored 30 over, adj pushrods, EV27, about 20k mi on build.
about a month ago I looked at my oil change under a 10x40 microscope and had microscopic shinny's. The lifter screen had oil filter paper particles covering about 1/5 of the screen, not too bad. Cleaned the screen and flushed the engine by leaving the oil filter off and pumped about 3 Qt out. Then ran fresh oil for 50 miles and changed it. Looked at the 50 mile oil under microscope and was virtually cleaned up.
Microscopes show every tiny thing that the eye cant. Engine sounds quiet, no sewing machine noises. My oil gets changed every 1 to 2k miles, Valvoline race or Valvoline motorcycle oil. 20-50 winter and in summer, two-20-50 with one 50.
THC likes running down my engine because he would give both cods for it.

An intake problem won't cause an exhaust problem.
Whatever is causing your exhaust to suck back in it isn't your intake.
The little sucking in at idle is normal reversing action. My Vance Hines with baffles are mostly open drag pipes. The perfect 208 lbs compression at each cyl means engine is good. SO The intake is the problem.

If you had crossover pipes I would agree with you but I don't see what would cause any sucking action if you don't have them.
Besides that you told me you only had suction on the rear pipe not on the front.
If what you had was normal it would be happening on both pipes.
You should do a proper leak down test on your bike to be sure.
Whatever it is ain't much and you have been very happy with that motor so far why spend $6k on something you don't really need????
