Cam change question: what order?

I emailed Heartland to ask for instructions to use the installer. Hopefully they'll get back to me first.

From what I've read, if it's like the JIMS tool you stop when it makes contact with the case. But I'm gonna find out for sure first this time!

Oh sorry didn't know you had the installer. I thought it was just a puller. If that's the case I think you're correct it will stop at the right depth.

You are both correct.
The installer has a small shoulder that insets the bearing just a bit and the installer tool will stop when it hits the case.

Heartland emailed me the instructions for both tools today after I asked.

I've seen where others have said they received tools from them with no instructions, so I'll post them here for anyone in the future who might be as dense as me at figuring it out for themselves.

Planning to tackle the bearing and cam install in the morning.
