I'm looking to improve my night vision on the 91 heritage. Stock light is not bright. What is a good up grade that would be plug and play on these older bikes? Thanks.
Just go on eBay or DK Custom (I think) or Fuel Moto and get a *bulb* that fits perfectly inside the bucket. No need to buy anything extra or cut anything off or anyhting, just plug it in and go.
I've had one in my '09 for a year or two and when I sold that bike I took that bulb out and put it in my '98 FXD. Works perfectly and lots of light and cheaper than a whole big setup like the Truck or H-D stuff.
This looks like the one I put in my RK last year or the year before. Made a big difference in the amount of light. I think I paid $20 at the time. It's still burning bright and doing what it is suppose to be doing.
