I was always partial to the Crane 300-2B. Too bad they stopped making that cam.

I've heard quite a bit about that Cam.... Was told it was a real good runner in a stck Evo....

Wood W6 works great with SE heads. With .030 head gaskets you end up with 185 CCP.

Lot's of ideas here.... So whatcha gonna do....? What ever you do decide replacing the lifters with a new cam is one thing I always do... every one has their preference..... S&S..... especially if your mileage is over 25k..

I was gonna say EV 13 too.
I had a EVL 3010 in my 99 evo softtail. It was a very good low end cam.
However I do not think that one can go wrong with a EV 27.
& yes I like Super E's too.

Installed the S&S 640 2 years ago and kept the quicker ratio rocker arms in my current engine, something to also consider.
