Looking for the secret 96down 97up conversion
So I love my 94 Road King. I really do but finding oem 96 down parts not busted or road rashed takes up a majority of my time. If you wanted a 97 up lime green and chrome starter just give me 35 seconds but a simple vivid black side cover and you should expect to make a deal with the devil. Anyway I was betting that all of you gear heads out there have probably dealt with this before and I wanted to see if you might be willing to share some of your genius conversion stories. A little less looking and a lot more ridding.

I also have a '94 flht and have struggled to find some parts. My usual places are CL, eBay and we have one big, good swap meet a year at the Donnie Smith show. I just have to be persistent. A lot of the guys on the Evo forum are great resources.

Yeah, Im on CL and Ebay all day some times changing up my search from FLH to Road King to using the year to not using the year to looking under Electra glides of the same year. I did find a great phone app called Craigs Alert. It will let you widen your search to different towns in your driving distance. Keep in touch Rizzo and if you need something in a certain color I will keep my eyes out! Thanks!
