Default Fitment question

I've come across a few rear fender parts from an '02 Road King that I would like to put on my '96 RK. It's a metal bumper guard. Did the rear fender/ frame get much wider on the '02 than the '96?
Also I found a set of V&H slip on mufflers from an '11 Ultra, these should work on the '96 as well right? I'm thinking all of these parts will fit but thought I'd check here before I do a bunch of running around.
Thanks for the help.

The bumper guards are identical. Not sure about the slip ons. But it should if the head pipe is a 1 3/4" i don't see why not. I know complete systems like my 98 Fatboy go from like 90-2011..... Head configuration never changed between the Evo's and the TC's..

Thanks for the information. I found a neat bumper guard along with the top saddle bag racks. More stuff for the powdercoater.

the only difference in exhaust from most twin cam to evo was the mounting brackets and the clips for holding in the flange. I have a 93 flhs that I've conferred to a road king pod shorts and have Rinehart true dual pipes from a 2007 street glide on mine.
