So you're running 24/37-32/70???

If so, that is a 3.37. More than optimal for performance. If that's not good enough than you really need to look at a bigger motor....

Ordered one from Baker ( 23 T ) when it comes in the swap should be relatively easy and I think it's worth a try. I agree with everyone's assessment that a bigger engine is most likely the only thing that will satisfy fully, but it's just not in the cards right now. I'll check back in once I've swapped and tested it out.

Ok you guys got me interested in this. I found a kit that comes with a 21T comp and new chain for about $125. Seems cheap, anyone running a 21T with the 36T clutch?

Been a 21t Screamin Eagle part around for a while, calculate your gear ratio before jumping on it, 350-360 final ratio gets some R's down the road

Curious, did you find that at a HD dealer?

I guess it wouldn't hurt to go to a 22 or 21. According to my 77 fsm the fx went as low as a 3.73 and the fl's 3.90. Just gotta watch the highway speeds....
