Default piston clearance

Ive tried to get info out of wiseco but so far zero response from them
Does anyone know what might be typical piston to cylinder clearance for their evo forged pistons
I'm looking at their K1675 piston kit 3.503 10:1 .005 oversized

Not sure ,but you might want to look here for your Evo parts. Great parts at a great price. I did this and had no problems what so ever.

.003"-.0035" Forged...... For an Evo Motor. As bore increases so does the clearance... Cast is less..

we do cast at .003 and a 10.1 to 1 we would do a .004 to even .005 depends how you intend to drive it

I can see compression and heat making a difference but still will not go over. 004" these aren't shovels.....

our championship road racing buell we ran it at .006 piston to wall at the finals at mid ohio to win the 1998 USA title

my sons nhra super gas nova we have run the one of the engines at .008 an entire season .0065 is the norm - piston flop over is only an issue when you have a short rod stroke ratio

John, I fully understand the need for more clearance on a 14:1 260 ccp motor. But we're not doing that on the street.... And you would like to get a full day of running on the strip without pulling the pistons.....
