I'm actively looking for one of the 4 bar luggage rack/backrests (53405-87B) for a 1990 FLHS, but they're hard to find. Is anyone using an alternative on a similar model? If so, what are you using and how do you like it? Still hoping to find the original but open to options.

Unfortunately it doesn't look as if your PM made it across the Atlantic, sad to say....

 

That's just the pad that bolt unto the rack. And it's overpriced for a used part.

 

It's the first one that Google offered, but there may be others....
