Now would be a good time to listen to THC's advice and get the Pingle and get rid of the vacuum line cuz like what was said eventually your voes is going to leak and then, "oh ****, I got no gas" can you say "vacuum leak"........

I second THC’s advice. For what you’re paying, get the Pingle, eliminate the extra vacuum line, then remember to turn the gas on and off. Less to go wrong. I had one vacuum peacock fail (not on a Harley) and start pissing gasoline all over my motor. Not something I want to have happen again.

Also, how is it that my ‘94 Softail is barely 24 years old, but the petcock on your ‘95 Softail has lasted for “28 years”? You a time traveler or something?

Better fuel flow so that when you hit reserve the bike recovers quicker than with a stock petcock.

A lever that sits at 90° from the body of the petcock that is easily operated even when wearing winter gloves.

You no longer have to siphon the fuel out of your tanks when you have to take them off for some repairs/upgrades.

A petcock that is easier to use.

A simpler system that has less parts to fail.

Plus, the Pingel looks like a piece of jewelry sitting under the tank.

I wish I had head of the Pingel before I bought my HD replacement... Oh well, I guess I will wait another 20ish years until mine fails again.
