I used a 1" axle also, if I remember right, the brake bracket is the only part that had to be modified (reamed for 1" axle), 16x3" airstrike wheel ('04-'07), 1 1/8" pulley and belt, 150 tire fits nice, '09 17" airstrike up front, stock m/c's and Brembos F&R, DOT 5,
,,,and it actually runs and gets ridden, right GB?
So this 1 1/8" belt has me 🤔. I'd like more tire. Stock I have 1 1/2" 70t rear and 32t front pulley. If I go 1 1/8" 70t pulley and stock 32t the only belts I see in 1 1/8 are 139 tooth. Stock is 136. Wouldn't the 3 extra teeth make it to long? Or am I overthinking this?

seeking info on the 1 1/8 belt & pulley for 150 tire. Specifically what tooth belt did you use?
I used a 1 1/8" belt so I could use a 150/80x16 tyre (now a 160/70x17, but that's another story!) and was able to get the correct length for 32/70 pulleys. I now have a 30T front and a shorter Sporty belt. Don't recall the tooth count on either of them, but the first one was a touring size. IIRC the later spec swingarm is longer than the stock Evo one, so the wheel is set further back in the bike and hence the belt tooth count will be a few more.
One of the reasons I went to the later spec s/a and wheel was so I could use a narrower belt to get a 150 tyre in. I did try with the original belt and set-up, but no way were they going to fit together.

Reason: Expanded.
Several things. My Deuce rear wheel with 160/70x17 tyre is larger in OD than the stock 16 rear wheel, so raised the overall gearing a little, but I also added a Baker DD6 transmission! That comes with a direct top gear, also a larger compensator, which raises primary gearing, giving a higher overall top gear.
I played games with a calculator over the various choices and chose the 27T option (28T is standard) along with a 30T front pulley. These between them give me a slightly lower first gear, all the better for climbing Alpine hairpins (hairy darned things when fully loaded!) and a higher top gear, but more like 5 1/2th rather than 6th.
