It all depends on the type of build you are doing which decides what you need... To classify as which is better than the other? Don't believe any one is, providing you stick with the same manufacturer when comparing..
Might I ask what you are building?

85” revolution performance kit, dome gives the higher compression, I had a brain fart, it’s been a while, thanks.

You need to look at what works best with the rest of the components you have, especially the heads.

I agree with 98, depends on the build. Sometimes if you go with domes you may need some head work to lower the CR back down to pump gas levels, but perhaps not depending on the height of the dome.

I personally believe in angled squish bands over domes. Much better flame propagation with a tighter combustion chamber while the squish creates turbulence to aid in a more complete combustion. Unfortunately they require a LOT more head work and custom pistons. The neat thing is if you have the S&S stroker crank for your EVO you can use Sportster 1200CC (and their variants) pistons as the pin height is within 25 thou of the Evo.

I like domes and here is why. I have found (from my last build) that I don't like when my heads are decked because it creates a problem with the intake manifold fit. I would rather have the chamber of the head cut out to fit desired compression by making the chamber bigger then to cut the head down
