When buying a used bike i always change the fork oil as one of the first things. Nine times out of ten it was never changed. Most people ignore the fork oil. On that note those stock springs are probably pretty tired as well. I just finished putting new springs in my dads bike and he couldnt believe the difference in dive during cornering. Check the date code on the tires while youre at it.
