Guess I was in a bad mood when I removed the original post, and after 24 hrs and no response, I figured what the heck, nobody knows about this yr bike.
Anyways, I was wondering what was special about this model in 1987. It has a tag on top ofthe tank that says 1987 Electra Glide Custom, Vehicle No.280 - 800, which tells me they only made 800 of this model. It does say Classic on front fender.
Just curious.
The 1988 had a limited run on the classics, two tone paint andwire wheels maybe something more, not sure.
Far as the 1987, maybe it was the same deal as the 1988.
