95 evo with 89 primary

Default 95 evo with 89 primary

im attempting to join the 95 evo engine to a 89 primary, wanting to use a 95 clutch assembly. ive run into the jackshaft size issue, and think ive got it ok, are there any other issues i should be looking for?

I just went the other way with my 86' EVO. Put a 92 transmission and primary on it with newer style starter etc...The transmission was changed because the tab the starter bolted to was for the Shovel era starter and so was the primary. I say all this because I don't remember when they went from the older starter setup to the newer but I want to say it was in 1990. Make sure the starter shaft will align with the hole in the inner primary & the primary cover.

Engines are absolutely interchangeable... except Twinky... Even a Shovelhead will go right in...
Need a Shovel top motor mount is all...

Actually an early twinkie will bolt in with a simple adapter.

Thanks... Interesting... I would not want to Downgrade... but... it is Interesting being Twinkies are so Cheap!!
