Kiss-
It does sound noisy from the video which is at best hard to actually hard to equate
I would retry the lifter adjustment per their instructions. (if you have not run it very long)

Doesn't sound all that bad... What's the preload?

I sent him the directions- .090 to .100 preload.

Yeah that's definitely more pronounced. You need to set the preload to .140". If you're at three and a half turns now go another full turn if they're 32 TPI pushrods. I think you'll see a noticeable difference.

this is interesting. I just took down a 2005 Dyna that the guy had a reputable*local business do a 1550 kit in his motor.

after getting the bike back, and within maybe 2-3 miles it started to tick and after only about 10 miles started with an oil pressure issue ( light coming on and getting noisey) rattles that sounded very much like lifters. he took it immediately back and had them check things over and they decided to install an HV S&S oil pump and hydro tensioner etc.. still kept the stock lifters and P-rods in it...same thing get warmed up and get nosier..he was now deep in the money pit with it so he brought it to me.

took it for a test ride, after about a mile it started getting what sounded like lifters ticking. I was only about a block away from my shop.
did sounding tests ( stethoscope) couldnt identify it completely but sounded like lifters ..stuck my pressure gauge on the motor and didn't like what I was seeing as far as oil pressure...took everything apart in the cams chest...no witness marks nothing that I could see, so checked the new S&S oil pump tension on the spring and it was barely any at all..gave it a couple more turns and put it all back together with new Feuling HP+ lifters and S&S quickee p-rods.... had oil pressure at 45-55 PSI...started it probably 10 times or more and let it set and warm up no noise......called him up and said to take it for a ride....he called me up and said by the time it got home, it was making the same clatter**.

so he brought it back to me today and I started going over everything finally could find no reason for this * noise which is nearly identical to the OPs videos noise *( and what from quite a few years working on bikes, I wasn't fully convinced it was lifter chatter, but it sounded like that)...so took the rockers off looked good.took of the heads and pulled the cyls...thrust faces were gouged, pistons gouged,,,took a couple quick measurements and there was 6 1/2 thou piston clearance at the skirts ( forged) too much for a forged taper skirt... looks like when the original builders did the 1550 kit they clearance the pistons too much even for a fudge factor for someone who might not break it in properly with forged pistons..( gonna take a .010 bore and hone to clean the cyls up. )when he originally took it back to them instead of checking for any damage from lack of oil pressure for a total of about 15-20 miles with no oil, pressure and installing the S&S stuff..they just put it back together and sent him out the door. so what Im saying is..

don't just assume its lifter and P-rod noise.

I agree with you 55pan but preload is essential on the t-man cams. One more thing did come to mind.. I've heard of some having issues with the valve springs tapping the top cover... Check your clearance with the new springs and retainers..

^^^^ agreed... you have to check everything when going high lift and Brick* cams.

Had a similar situation with my evo after putting it together with Branch Heads. Found the valve spring cap hitting the inner rocker box just enough to make a bunch of clatter. Clearanced everything and now it's just the normal EVO rattle.
