I just redid my top end with a revolution performance 85” kit with 10.5:1 compression, I also had them do my heads, port and polish, bigger valves and high lift springs, I changed my cam to a Tman590, .590 lift, fueling lifters and S&S pushrods. I am not surprised that it is a little louder with a bigger drive train and it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from any specific location, it’s actually louder when it’s hot, I’m just wondering if it’s normal and how loud is acceptable.
Acceptable?
I will allow a tick but not much more.
You need to ID where and what it is, B4 you can say too much about it.
Is it P rods hitting the tubes? (real common)
A bigger cam with proper geometry and good lifters will not make any more noise than a stock cam.
That cam has a pretty aggressive ramp so I'd be expecting a bit more valve train clatter, you running syn or dino ? Syn, change it and try Spectro 25-60 dino.

Not the first time I’ve heard that, I’ll try that next oil change.
+1 on Spectro 25-60... I've preached it for a long time.
You might also take a look around my website... might be just what you need
