Move your kickstand. They make a replacement kickstand that mounts to the swingarm pivot point on your FXR that looks and performs killer. It prevents it from dragging in deep corners too. You can find it in the drag specialties big book to buy. The first one I saw, the guy had just made a kickstand plate and bolted it in place and attached his kickstand. I will try to give more info and possibly a pic later.

I have an 88' fxrs..Ihad the same issue...my problem was the spring/pin but also the the spot on the frame where the kick stand locks into,when extended out, was worn..I had to reinforce the tab area by welding it up and grinding to fit..not a big deal if you knowhow to weld or know someone who can...have to take the inner primary off though.

thanks for the info guys............ i cant believe you have to dismantle the whole left side of the bike just to do this... that really sucks!!!! well thanks i will see what i can do .....dpnt really want to use the bolt on side stand type ...
