whats this under my seat? What’s it do? Is it an upgrade? Does it affect my idle?

I’d replace it with points and a condenser... they should fit under your seat!

Take the 2 screws out and flip it upside down. You'll see the the part number and if it has selectable ignition curves. Take a pic of the other side and post it up.. They are a good ignition module.....

bike runs good. I am towards the end of tuning with my AFR gauge.
