My brake bleed valve are 10mm, as are my throttle cable adjuster. That’s on a 1996 FXD. Lotsa Jap parts on Evos.

Noticed no one said torx wrenchs. Wonder why. Nothing critical using them?

The book has a tork spec on every bolt on your bike.
The only thing I use it for is the head bolts, compensator, and clutch hub.

Good list and green paint on tools that you pack is a great idea!

Also don't pack cheap tools. On the road repair is where you want good tools that do the job. Cheap price yes, cheap quality, no...in addition to pawn shops, thrift stores are a pretty good source for "road" tools.

To add to the list, maybe a heavy duty relay and a spare circuit breaker, an electrical crimp connector or two and a spare set of spark plugs. Don't forget a screwdriver that will fit the carb screws on inside of the carb and for the bowl screws. YD

THC reminded me of an important tool. A good pair boots to kick the muffler back on to the head pipe.
My right side was rattling as we pulled up to the restaurant at the Texas EVO meet last Saturday.

THC got a good laugh at me kicking the Reinhardt slip on Back on

I forgot to mention adjusting the Sportster belt in downtown Dallas. I used the "good pair of boots" thing. Remind me to never ride through Dallas again. I had figgered (wrongly) that traffic wouldn't be bad on a Saturday.

That's what the bailing wire and side snips are for.
