Default RamJett

Found a brand new RamJett intake manifold on eBay for my EVO. Does anyone have any experience with these? I’ve heard good and bad, mostly good. Seems like a good idea...figured what the heck.

Was going to make gaskets and use silicone between the manifold and gaskets and gaskets to heads.

nly Ramm Jett I know of is the Retainer for the old Clutc... actually Works!
I'm sure a Manifold Change will Not transform a Street Bike!!!!
Kinda Like Exhaust Systems... Hard to Prove if they make anything better or worse.. I know how... But.... we ain't racing here!!!!
On the lighter side... I doubt it can Hurt much, as long as you seal it!!!!

yea I was just going to try instead of the flanges with the rubber rings. I like the idea of a solid mount with silicone and gaskets.

I'm with ya excepting the "silicone".... something I will Not use.. If it requires Silicone, it is No Good/Broken/Junk
Sorry.
The Later Manifold system on the EVO is superior to the Early Manifold.. I'll Concede that!

BTW
The Compliance Fittings of the V-Twin Intake are as Old as Harley V-Twins... Gotta Have "compliance" unless ya go Dual [individual runners] Carbs.

Not trying to be a smart ***, but what is so different about these, how much can you improve a simple design like a manifold.
