Default Tranny oil drain

I've got a 1998 FXSTC and want to change the tranny oil to Amsoil 20W50 MCV. I have a Clymer manual, but it is rather vague at times. Could someone confirm for methe position of the tranny drain plug. I believe it is on the right hand side of the tranny just underneath the chrome end cover (a small T40 torx drive). The manual says that some models had the drain plug located on the bottom of the tranny, but I don't think this applies to my bike.

Cheers.

You got it right, just under the chrome cover on the right side. Best part is it drains all over the frame and wiring harness.
