@sB43
I hope you don’t mind me high jacking your thread?
Sounds like you’re on the right course. Or at the very least, have had enough input by our EVO kings. They are a very gracious brotherhood and its the reason I love coming here, even though the closest I’ve ever come to owning an EVO my self was for just a brief period in time when I purchased my first HD which was a new 2014 senty two which was not a good teo up ride but shure did look haute and was a real blast to ride.
Owned it long enough till my wife decided she had enough riding bitch. So went back to stealer and trade for what I have owned since October of 2014. LOL, eventually the misses decided she was gonna quit bitchin and bought her own HD and we’ve both been a much happier couple ever since.
That, till my own little 103ci twinky began commenting of a fault somewhere between her electrical, or FI system. And with me being mostly a bolt on plug and play parts swapper rather than a genious such as these finer gents. Though there are more here, though they must all be out adding some worth while milage on their magic carpet rides.. And might eventually chime in me hopes to aid with their infinite wisdom. And maybe even take pity on me and offer a suggestion as to why my 2014 Slim has developed this lag at low throttle position that responds with a hesitation during a quick snap of the throttle. And once at cruising speeds wether mild or aggressively inspired runs, will signal the red check engine light wich will tirn off oce my speeds subside to a speeed not much higher than parade cruising or no more better than boulevard cruising pace.
Qell, again, sB43... I hope you don’t mind if I jumped this thread asking for help thinking that there may be some correlation between yours and ny problem.
I had once started a thread regarding this issue and came up with many good leads, all of which I am now sharing with the shop my bike happens to be at. But to be honest with you, I wish it was one of any of our EVO kings working on it rather than them. Unless one of them actually happens to be one of the texhs at the shop and I’m not aware of it LOL
No such luck hehe.
Well, it’s saturday and the service department just texted me. I sent him a messge earlier. I hope he has some good news
Have a great day everyone

State your problem again. Start with mods to bike. Then just the problem carefully written.

I know, I tend to ramble.
Bike is 2014 Slim w/ 29k mi on the OD
Just after I purchased it I added the micro tuner sold by Fuel Moto manufactured by DynoJet
2:1 Rush 2.5” baffle exhaust system and a 90* intake from Whimmer and a 30/70 final drive gear ratio swap.

Late last year I began to notice that the motor would hesitate under hard throttleling.
Was more obvious from a stanstill. I would have to slip on the clutch in order to keep from stalling.
The dealership is dimissing it. Claming that their test ride went smootly. Probably because they never got on the highway and never really opened it up
I brought the bike to them over a month ago for this issue and a bar replacement plus new brake pads and when they sent it back, the problem was still there.
Either they over looked it, or are making excuses. Not sure which.
thanks RIPSAW
