Looking at your bike doing a head stand was driving me crazy. (It's not a long drive, just a short putt) Try this.

Yes, you are right, the bike is a 1996 but the original motor blew up a few years ago and the previous owner put the TC in instead, i would have liked to have a EVO in there but around here in Sweden it´s hard to find a good one and to find a mid -90 electra in this condition is allmost impossible, so far i´ve seen a -87-88 and a -90 for sale in an year and a week ago a high milage -98 with EFI showd up on our versin of crag list, this bike is very well looked after, same owner for 10 years, so the choise was easy, the TC runs good, is low milage and has had the cam chain tensioner and bearings changed so i´ll guess i can try to like it as much as my FXR, but if it gives me trouble...i´ll be lookong hard at finding a frech EVO for it hope you guys let me hang aroud here anyway....

Technically it's a 96 so you should be good to go... Welcome to Evo "Era" land...
Still though, it looks nice...

Something does not sound right with me... They stuffed a twinkie into an Evo frame? With a hammer? Torch, cut, then re-weld??

From what I understand the import inspections are more stringent in Europe than here in the USA. Make sure the numbers on the frame neck and right side downtube match and are clean looking.

I wish you well.

That's whats meez a thinkin, that bike is screaming Twinkie, 1996 has the wide rear turn signals bar, those turns are late model, exhaust is late late model, front turns are new style with no driving lights, mirrors are built into the batwing and not on the handle bars, something not right here

It´s all good, the bike has a few custom touches and a few upgrades, the footboards are streetglide for exampel and has looked like this for years and been through inspection several times, its just what i was looking for except for the twinkie maybe, at one point i considered a newer bike but then i would have gotten, EFI, alarmsystem and ABS-brakes...stuff an old school dude like me didn´t want,
