My wife says the saddlebag crash bars are digging into the back of her legs when we ride 2 up. I would like to take off the part of the bar that goes from under the saddle, to the bar that the saddle bag sits on.
My plan would be to cut it with a cutoff wheel or a hacksaw, then find some kind of plug to fill the hole.

Has anyone done something like this?
Thanks
That is a method. Instead you could just get the mounting bars for a Street Glide / Special, Road Glide / Special, or Road King Special, and not have to cut anything, or find plugs that would fit and look ok. Someone on here may even have a set of takeoffs, that they replaced with full bars, or maybe they want to trade you for yours.
