Default Removing crash bars???

Anyone with a Road King who has taken off both sets, engine and bag. I would like to see a picture. This is my first touring model and I've never had them on any of the numerous bikes I've had. Just wonder what it looks like.
Thanks,
Marsh

Default No bag bars

I took of the bag bars for a sleeker look. I left on the engine guards as I like the highway pegs and the look on the Kings.

Here's a pic.

i only leave my front on because i use lower fairings in the cooler weather. already removed the rear. i love clean look and it reduces drag. LOL. wanna slow your RK down? add a fairing and lowers. the effect is dramatic.

I'm a chrome yanker myself...check out the pics in my photo album for more. I've also got it lowered 1 1/2 in the rear and have a badlander seat & wide bars...among tons of other things...

Just something to ponder... Drop it once without them on and see if you wish you had left them on. I left 'em on and added bag gaurds but that's only because I liked the old time look. I never realy thought of taking them off, but the pics. here do look nice. Here is how I know about damage. My foot slipped (while stopped) in sand in a parking lot , bike tipped over, ZERO damage. Taught me 2 things Be careful where you plant your foot and leave the bars on. By the way, Yes I know better but I was not paying attention like I should have been
