Nothing to add, except I love that colour combo and yet the MoCo no longer seems to love or use it. I hired a shovel TG in Florida that colour back in 1985!
Well spotted, however I suspect the rubber ring around that amber light is distorted in the tan-coloured bike. AFAIK the FLT fairing remained through shovel and Evo eras until it was discontinued, before the RG was introduced.
Think it is a Shovel like you said, years go from 1979 to 1996 with late 1984 changing to the Evo. Came across a fairing local and not many of them out there.
