Check the Dynatek website for the correct model for your bike, as there are versions for other Harleys such as the twincams. The popular version in here for our Evos is the one that fits inside the cam cone.

I believe the 2000p does not have the ability to run a single fire ignition. The most important issue is the connection. As stated in your other thread the, 2000- HD2EP. The best thing to do is call Dynatek. 702-673-4069

There are other suitable models, in addition to the 2000. As suggested above, check the website on the link....

I have always used Dynatek and have had good luck with them. Some say its the best. Also remember the "coil ohms" have to match the ignition.
The Dynatek 2000I goes in the nose cone and is a easy do it yourself instructions.. Make it easy on yourself and buy the complete kit, Ignition & coils etc. Even my dumb *** can install these. They have simple dip switches with 4 ignition curves. Your Engine should run well on the 2nd curve, If you get PING go to 3rd curve. I also have a 97 Dyna. Ill check Ebay see if I can find ya a deal. Iv bought from this guy before, no problems.

Well my ignition came in, dyna200p, I think I’m gonna go with curve 3, I’m running an 85” Revolution Performance kit with ported heads and a 590 lift cam, anyone have experience with worked engines and this ignition and what did you go with.

Depends on the exact cam... What exact cam do you have? What is your Static compression? Do you know what the squish is? It all make a difference...Curve 2 is usually the go 2....

Cam is a Tman 590 and compression is 10.5:1, can’t tell you about the squish other than no milling was done on the heads and I have domed pistons.
