I wasn't asking to prove a point, I asked because I didn't know. I know for sure there is none on my 85, and suspect there may not be on the OP's 92. If not, an upgrade option mentioned may not be best suited for the OP.
It's not about challenging, it's about providing help that is correct information.
Why do some always have to prove otherwise??? It's not a challenge to someones Knowledge, it's called helping another...
Not the challenge you, but just to point out, there are errors on those parts diagrams. Earlier this morning I used that site to try to provide a diagram for someone in another thread. It was about a 1985 FXWG starter relay. Using that site the diagram shows the older big relay that the shovelheads use mounted to the bottom of the battery tray. As an original owner of the same model, I know for fact that the relay was the newer small cube shape type with plug in connector and not the bolt on connections. Just saying the sites diagrams are not perfect. Still a valuable resource, but not perfect.
I guess I am lost.
I was truly trying to help the OP.
If you have a 92 EVO you have a cone cove that points used to go into and still can.
I like Daytona TT , it is just one simple module that fits in there
and gives you lots and lot of options.
It is simple to use.
You have no provision for sensors (thank god)

That is the nice thing about the Evo cam chest cover, it's adaptable to both points and the hall effect pickups going back to the shovels...

Like I said I do run Daytona, But On long trips, i pack the whole breaker plate assy with another coil.
Ya never know when the EMP might go off, and computers?
There is no fixing them beside the road.

Totally agree. I also carry a spare module and a hall effect pick on long trips. On both my Shovel and Evo...
