hi folks my 92 fxr it still running the original ignition i have been looking at upgrading and have been offered the screamin eagle ignition (8000 rpm module ) for just under $100, is it worth it or am i better saving a little more and buying something else the bike has the ev46 cam in it and runs out of revs real fast with the standard module

Your better off getting a Dynatek ignition.
Which model is what you really want to think about.
A 2000p is a plug and play that simply replaces your ignition module and a 2000i replaces the module and the cam sensor in one.

+1 here - had them on an Evo and a carbed 2004 TC. Far superior and their customer service will answer any questions you have
about setup.
I think it was in 85. What is the part number on your Screamin Eagle ignition module? Does it have selectable ignition curves? If not I would look into the Dynatek units..
