IDK
I own 1994
Perhaps you are calling the "Hall Effect a cam sesor?

They come with a carb.
If some come with FI I dont know of it ...
Actually Harley started calling it a cam position sensor in '95.
I call it a cam sensor for brevity.
They come on both carb and efi bike the difference being the carb one is adjustable and the efi one isn't adjustable.

I had a 1994 Heritage and the sensor began leaking fluid through the wire exit point. Replaced it it the same position the
original one was positioned in - it is adjustable on that bike.

OK
I am the old guy and that is where the points go and HD fitted an ignition trigger in there.
They can call it anything they want.
In the strictness sense of the word it I guess it could be a nomenclature of cam sensor ........
You win.
