Oil Sumping Question

THC,
I actually run the breather through a catch can and then to the air filter backplate. I don't like the oil vapors getting on the bottom of my bike.

I get that and if you look a look back I was asking the other guy why he vented his case breather to his air cleaner.
No matter what you have there is no real reason to vent it to the carb...that was my point.

I have a 5" line running straight down from the case fitting. When I first start my 85 after a long winter break I get about a cup of oil on my driveway (I always forget to place a pan there), but normally just a little oil mist on startup. I'll live with it until it gets worse.

yet on a head breather... I do it... just because I feel ant Vacuum is a Plus for Breathing, and I have yet to get any oil out of a head breathing set-up..
Again... people that know real performance actually try to evacuate the Bottom end with a Pump!!!

LOL Oil escaping goes a long ways.. Kinda Like Brylcreem!!!
I bet if you actually catch it, and measure it... it ain't a Cup... I hope...
