Not sure if it's the Batman sticker, or the horse fender ornament that does it for me.
You could sell the idea of a new to you bike to the misses as a 2 up touring bike in riding season, and a Christmas yard decoration in the off season.

I just sold my 103 for more than NADA “average retail” which I’m happy with.

It’s very true that add ons don’t do squat for resale.
