You don't need to find a low mileage Evo as they are so easily rebuilt, just get a clean one, the motor is the easy part but I will say this....when it comes to wrenching, a pre Canbus TC is actually easier to work on than an Evo, especially the motor. The 96 inch TC's are, for me, the pinnacle of H-D motors in terms of wrenchability.
Over here Evo FXR's are at a premium, go for good money!
What ever you do find, It should be unmolested.... This way you can make it your's. There's always room for improvement from the bottom of the barrel.... Choose wisely...
