Not sure if I made it clear in my original post but I wasn't to eliminate the air in the front forks. Will a drop in kit do this or do I need something different?

You mentioned that your front had been lowered, probably by shortening the springs. The fact they don't hold air very well is probably linked to that work not being done very well, which is easy enough to rectify. There are a number of copper washers and a rubber hose, any of which could have developed a leak.
The simplest way ahead IMHO is to eliminate the air components, however in doing that you will probably find the current fork springs are not man enough, so replace them with Race Tech single-rate springs, matched to your weight. Personally I would also restore ride height to stock.
That is a starting point, but there are many further possibilities such as adding Ricor Intiminators, to improve damping and ride quality, or using one of the many cartridge kits. How deep are your pockets?!
