Good advice although I don’t think most people could give a **** if your advisor was a club member or not. I dunno why people throw that into their posts. It doesn’t add any credibility
As mentioned, there are "off the shelf" pipes available. Not a ton of them, but there are several.
Last year I put a kicker on my 76 FLH. It worked well but I didn't like how the pedal was in the way, and I didn't want to use a folding arm like I have on my Evo FXWG, so I took it off.
Last week I took the FLH out and when I went to start it to come home the battery wouldn't crank it over. Had to have a guy with one of those mini jump boxes give me a jump.
Maybe I'll have to re-install the kicker.....
Many of us in here have modified our bikes with non-stock parts, it's called customising, which is what you are doing with your kicker.
