Not a Baker but here's the kicker kit I put on my old Evo Softail with staggered duals, took an offset arm to clear the pipes...

Good advice although I don’t think most people could give a **** if your advisor was a club member or not. I dunno why people throw that into their posts. It doesn’t add any credibility

As mentioned, there are "off the shelf" pipes available. Not a ton of them, but there are several.

Last year I put a kicker on my 76 FLH. It worked well but I didn't like how the pedal was in the way, and I didn't want to use a folding arm like I have on my Evo FXWG, so I took it off.
Last week I took the FLH out and when I went to start it to come home the battery wouldn't crank it over. Had to have a guy with one of those mini jump boxes give me a jump.
Maybe I'll have to re-install the kicker.....

Cool

Many of us in here have modified our bikes with non-stock parts, it's called customising, which is what you are doing with your kicker. It is also down to each of us to solve the various challenges that are put up in front of us! With off the wall stuff there is rarely a single or simple solution. Press on - we'll still be here to chip in with help and advice.

personalizing would be a better word instead of customizing..........
