I'm by no means trying to start an exhaust debate but I like the fatcat, it looks and sounds great. My RB prostock is also nice just too damn loud. I know you guys like Supertrapp, but my personal experinece with it is not good, it blocks my it dipstick, the quality is awful for what I paid and again, just my personal experience, sounds just as bad. I really wish I could get rid of it.
D&D seems to recommend their pipes with Woods cams. Anyway, finishing up installing the 31 and will post a new wego file. Thank again guys.
Neither am I... everyone has their preference and I'm not putting down the FatCat. Supposed to be a great pipe.. It's just the choice of baffle that could be making it difficult to tune on Bottom... I think the LowCat and the FatCat have the same head pipe with the mufflers being a little different. I myself bought a Used LowCat but it came with a louvered baffle and am currently seeking perforated baffle cause I know it'll breath better.... I also agree with you on the SuperTrapp... Sound is just ok and quality is the same but when it comes to performance I don't think there is is a better all around pipe. Sure my ol lady hates it but i'm into performance..... Not sound..... So I live with it...
John, I was also thinking that maybe a post in the mechanical Tuning section you might get more advise on tuning with a Wego... Not many guys here in the Evo Section tend to do so.. Just trying to help is all....
Let's see what happens with the 31 low jet, went back over the whole graph and your not that far off. You have a rich idle and really rich below 3000 rpm's which is a smaller jet change, set the idle warm with the 31 low using the active Wego digital at 13.5-13.8 and not so much as how many turns (use your equipment). Drive it glancing down at the active Wego digital to see where your low speed and cruise AFR's is at, as an example if your at 14.3 cruise and 14.3 idle, lower the idle AFR and see how it affects the low speed AFR, you can adjust this setting on the road instead of running a recorded graph allowing some time saved.
Once your lows and idle AFR is blended, take a ride with the Wego recording and see where the mids and WOT throttle is at, I think you have a lot of fuel carry over from the 33 being so rich and the normal acclerator pump cleanup during throttle roll on and post another graph, think the 31 is going to clean up some problem areas
