I have a 2006 Harley Fatboy, had to rebuild master cylinder. Went ahead drain all fluid and blew out the line. Did reverse bleed, and master cylinder would not fill that way. Pushed fluid from caliper to mc banjo and fluid came out, tightened down and filled mc with fluid, steady pumped but still no pressure, any thoughts?? Right now got handle zip tied with mc cap off!
Wild *** guesses here. The main seal on piston not seated correctly. Cleaned out all debris during rebuild?

Seal okay, and everything cleaned spotless! Going to try 24 hour zip tying lever and start from beginning again if that doesn't work! Thanks for your reply!
[QUOTE=Schex;18152596]Should have two holes, the very small return hole is plugged, probably corroded shut.
picture is not the same as yours, but similar
Actually mine has 3 holes. 1 by itself and 2 side by side. I cleaned the lone hole out really good but the 2 side by side , I could not get the wire to go down in either hole, it was like they had solid bottoms. But later I did notice air was coming from the 2 holes. I am doing the 24 hour zip lever tie down right now. But tomorrow if it doesnt work I am going to start all over from the beginning again and recheck everything. Thanks for your reply and input.
The small hole causes mischief if its blocked, after my bike had stood awhile, i changed all the fluids etc, but the back brake was a pain to bleed, took it for an mot(annual test) which it passed, only for the back brake to lock up on the way home, took it all to pieces, and found the little hole blocked, after i had cleaned everything, and got the hole clear, and put it all back together, i found it was a lot easier to bleed up, and its been fine since
Thanks for your reply! That is exactly what happened, took everything back apart and sure enough both holes that were side by side were clogged! Put back together did a reverse bleed which did fill the master cylinder but I still can't get any pressure! Guess gonna leave it zip tied another 24 hours!
